Trading & risk disclosure

Last updated 7 September 2026. Read this before connecting Coinbase or activating an agent.

What this is

Zero1 is automated trading software.

You connect your own Coinbase account, choose an agent, and set the capital and limits it operates within.

Once you activate an agent, it places orders on your connected account automatically, within the limits you set, without requiring your approval of each individual order.

Custody

Zero1 does not hold your funds.

Your assets remain in your own Coinbase account at all times.

Zero1 never takes custody of them, and the connection it asks you to create cannot withdraw funds or move them off Coinbase.

Your control

You choose which agent to run, how much capital it may use, and the limits it operates under.

Nothing trades until you connect an account and explicitly activate an agent.

You can pause, stop, or reduce the allocation of any agent at any time, inspect its current limits, and revoke your Coinbase connection.

These controls take effect operationally, not only as a request logged for later action.

Risk of loss

Trading involves risk of loss.

Automated trading can lose money, prices move quickly, and the software can be wrong.

You are responsible for the capital in any account you connect and any agent you activate.

Simulated results

Demo mode, backtests, historical results and simulated results do not guarantee, and do not reliably predict, what an agent will do with real money.

They are useful for evaluating an agent before committing capital, not a forecast of future performance.

Interruptions

Zero1 depends on Coinbase and other third-party infrastructure it does not control.

Coinbase outages, network issues, delays or errors can delay or prevent an order from being placed, changed, or reported back accurately.

Zero1 is not responsible for interruptions at Coinbase or elsewhere outside its own systems.

Not advice

Zero1 does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice.

It does not know your financial situation and does not evaluate what is suitable for it.

Choosing an agent and setting its limits are your decisions.

This does not replace the Terms of Use, which governs your account.
